Office Delve als zentrales Kollaborationssystem

Mit Windows Continuum wird das Handy zum vollwertigen Desktop
Ähnliche Konzepte gab es schon öfters, jetzt scheinen aber die Leistung der Mobilgeräte zu stimmen und durch Universal auch die programmtechnischen Voraussetzungen erfüllt. Schließt man das Handy an einen großen Bildschirm wird die jeweilige App wie ein Desktop-Programm angezeigt und funktioniert auch so. Vor allem wenn man etwa noch eine Bluetooth-Tastatur und Maus anschließt. Das Handy bleibt währenddessen voll nutzbar.

Cortana kann Programme bedienen ohne sie zu öffnen
Man kann Cortana etwa sagen, dass sie über ein bestimmtes Messaging-System eine Nachricht an eine Person schicken soll mit einem bestimmten Inhalt. Und anstatt, dass Cortana die App öffnet und die Nachricht eingibt, fragt sie nur kurz nach Bestätigung und schickt sie direkt. Ohne dass der User das Programm je zu Gesicht bekommt. Das eröffnet viele tolle Möglichkeiten.

HoloLens fasziniert
Hunderte HoloLenses stehen den Besucher_innen der Build 2015 zum Testen zu Verfügung. Auf der Bühne wurde gezeigt wie es im Bildungsbereich aber auch zuhause genutzt werden kann. Hologramme und Bildschirme überall. Ein “follow me” Befehl reicht und ein Holo-Screen folgt einem wohin man auch geht. Auf HoloLens läuft Windows 10 und alle Hologramme sind Windows 10 .
